TRAVEL PROTECTION/INSURANCE WAIVER

Viora Travel, LLC (“Viora Travel”) emphasizes the importance of purchasing travel protection/insurance with the recommended Cancel For Any Reason coverage in order to protect the traveler from the issues that might prevent a travel supplier from completely providing their services (including the potential of financial default or bankruptcy). Such comprehensive coverage should include Trip Cancellation or Interruption, Medical Expenses, Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, and Baggage with a qualifying policy inclusive of emergency medical coverage of no less than $50,000 and medical evacuation coverage of no less than $100,000. Further, travel protection insurance plans can help protect you in the event of loss of any NON-REFUNDABLE trip deposit and payments that result from cancellation or trip interruption (due to a covered reason such as injury or illness before or during the trip). It also helps with reimbursement for medical emergency costs (including very costly evacuation costs), missed connections and baggage delays/loss.

Travel protection insurance is NOT included in your booking with Viora Travel. We may recommend travel insurance options for you to choose from, however, we are not liable for any issues that result with said travel insurance options. In addition, we are not licensed insurance agents, and we recommend that you contact your insurance agent or broker to discuss the insurance policies that are available. If you do not elect to purchase travel insurance/trip protection, you understand that you are responsible for all charges, costs, damages, losses and expenses, regardless of the reason.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You are advised that you need to purchase the appropriate protection/insurance from your insurer within a certain number of days from the deposit being paid in order to avoid waiving any pre-existing medical conditions. This timeframe is imposed by the travel insurance company.

AT THE TIME OF FIRST PAYMENT:

I have been advised of the deposit and cancellation policies for my purchase and have been provided with Viora Travel’s Terms and Conditions and acknowledge receipt of, and my agreement with, Viora Travel’s Terms & Conditions.
I understand my booking with Viora Travel DOES NOT include travel protection/insurance and any payments made to third-party suppliers may be NON-REFUNDABLE, and all payments made to Viora Travel are NON-REFUNDABLE as described in the Terms and Conditions.
I understand that travel insurance can protect me from possible loss of monies due to supplier bankruptcy/default, unexpected trip cancellation/interruption due to accident, sickness or death, baggage loss, medical expenses, and emergency air transportation costs that other insurance policies and credit card programs may not cover.
I understand that I must purchase travel protection insurance immediately to obtain maximum insurance coverage.
